Finished The Novice by Trudi Canavan. The second book in The Black Magician trilogy.
Found the second half to be more interesting than the first half, but that is probably just me.
Started Carl’s Doomsday Scenario by Matt Dinniman, book 2 of Dungeon Crawler Carl.

I just finished Towers of Midnight and I’m taking a break before hopping in to the last book of The Wheel of Time. So next up I’ll be reading Sphere by Michael Crichton. I came upon it reading about books with a theme I like, and realised someone had actually mentioned it here in a recommendation thread. I’ve never read any Crichton before, I don’t think, so that’ll be interesting.
Crichton’s The Andromeda Strain and Sphere were one of his first books I ever read, and while it has been couple of decades since I read them, I loved reading both of them.
Now that you have mentioned them, I want to go back and read them again.
