Former product manager here. I have guided the creation of several large scale products and I can tell you with certainty that no one considers the end user. Not once, not ever. Those filthy little chub rubbers are too busy pawning thier babies for fentanyl and standing in line for sneakers the notice. They will buy anything we tell them to and won’t question a thing when they start forgetting their families names and who they are backing on America’s Top Tax Preparer because we’ve destroyed what’s left of their cerebral cortex with micro targeted subliminal ads.
First and foremost products exist to please shareholders and so C-Suite executives can brag about them at lavish parties to get laid. If the COO doesn’t at least get an unethusiastic handjob from a women twenty years younger than he is the product has failed.
And just ao we’re clear “shareholder” is an industry standard euphemism for our lizard overlords. Underlords really because they all live inside the hollow earth.
