Since nothing of consequence will happen to anyone directly involved, I’d like to think more about the opportunities opened up by this new precedent. What about running constant ads on Fox News etc thanking Obama for whatever. It would drive them crazy but I think they have to run those ads. If one thing could make racist people turn off Fox News, it’s hearing positive things about minorities.
This makes me quite hopeful for class consciousness actually.
