At least he has the guts to do what he thinks is right.

Charles would have a few more wins if he had the same courage.

Exactly what I was thinking too.

Everyone seems to be slamming Lewis about this, but at least he tried something. I can almost here Max answering on this topic “well that’s racing, sometimes the gambles work, and sometimes they don’t”

Yeah and it’s not like they’re fighting for either championship right now, just for the standings, so whatever. These should be the times where they dare doing something different, it’s all experience anyway.

Oh and as an Italian and long time Ferrari fan, I only have negative biases for Lewis (just like I have an hard time rooting for Antonelli, I just don’t like that fking grey car), so when I write what I write, you can be sure I’m not fanboying.

Haha I’m an Australian and just can’t stand to see Mercedes win no matter the driver. I just don’t like the brand tbh, and no real reason behind it either, just stems from a childhood dislike of Mercedes lol.

Verstappen and Red Bull fan here btw. Been a Red Bull fan since Webber was there, obviously to support the Aussie, but I’ve always felt like he was the RB second driver that truly could have won a championship if he was given the support to do it by RB.

Must be frustrating being a Ferrari fan at times!

it’s good he takes responsibility, but in that situation the team has to have the guts to overrule him. It was obvious that coming in during the vsc was the only right decision and the team should have told him.

Ferrari strategy doesn’t seem to be very dynamic. Normally that’s because too many people are involved in the decision making.

Fair enough trying the new mediums, but you gotta roll with the pain early then. Being the first person to pit, so early, means it ruined his whole race. He couldnt have a viable one stop from there, and a two stop required SC which they got, and then he decided to try and stick it out.
