That makes sense.
You admire something on social media, and want to sign up to do exactly that. Or even better, working with the influencers who did that thing. Works with all kinds of things, not just military recruitment.
Units have to up their social media game to attract recruits.

Do you believe that laws are optional if you don’t like them? Do people in the army should never rest because some guys are just special and shouldn’t be drafted? Nobody likes the current situation, but our laws are so lax and forgiving for leaving your unit you can choose basically any profession as long as your chosen unit wants to accept you. Anyway if real military law would have been enacted it wouldn’t be this business as usual and far more brutal.
That said, TCRs right now is a fucking disgrace but far less so than they were a few years ago.
