Its a non scheduled prescription but last time I saw a doctor they hit me for 300$ just to send a script. I’ve been taking it for years but recent changes have made it difficult to get a GP

Thank you in advance

just give your local gp a call. its free, book an appointment and receive the medication you need! its then just £9/month for your prescription.

    good luck!

Look for a nurse practitioner in private practice.

Also a lot of universities and towns have free or low cost clinics, but it’s a hit or miss thing. Mostly teaching medical colleges and universities. The waiting time for an appointment is understandable really long.

Also check out your local health department for advice.

Oh these are all great suggestions! I live near two schools of nursing I bet I can find one quick. I wasn’t aware they could prescribe meds.

Also I’ll see if there is a free clinic here, we have to have one we have a large Hispanic and Muslim communities that are all on refugee status.

      Thank you!

FYI: a licensed nurse is not a nurse practitioner. There are levels to a nursing degrees. I don’t recall them all, a NP has a masters and years of clinical experience. There’s also physicians assistant which I think can also prescribe.

nope but I have often said countries without universal healthcare should allow all drugs to be bought without a prescription because they are essentially saying people have to act as their own doctors.

What gets me is the med I need is super far from being a narcotic/scheduled/risk of ODing on. I should have unlimited refills as this condition will be life long.

our dog has allergies and needs this hydrolyzed dog food. the process does not change the nutritional quality. its still just dog food. just less allergy inducing. requires a vet prescription but any dog could eat it every day all their life and be no the worse over any regular store bought dog food.

Amazon sucks and all but I got a dermatology consult and prescription extremely cheap through Amazon health. If you don’t want to support bezos, other telehealth is worth looking into

If money wasn’t an issue I would avoid the jungle site. But these days anything I can save is worth it, thanks for the suggestions!
