I just cant believe how stupid that entire population is. They let a demented orange pedophile fuck over their country for 2 terms before realizing voting actually makes a difference. Everything has gone to shit, there is war everywhere and only at this stage people are able to vote non-republican. Now my entire Lemmy feed is full of democrats celebrating wins that could have been since 2016. And now we have to seen them try for a couple of years until a republican gets chosen again and the cycle begins anew.

I get it, but this is probably one time that we should be grateful they have. At least, enough to do something.

Yea, I’m happy for them. Their people fought an uphill battle democratically and peacefully. They made their voices heard against Elon’s billions.
The rest of the world has started building networks bypassing USA.
Their tantrums will matter less as they lose their spot as the only superpower.
