Hey all,
Have any of you seen this? I mod a couple of communities which have a number of posts each. They’re not huge, but one had something like 16 posts and the other had 17.
The latter one is down to showing just 5 posts ( https://lemm.ee/c/whatcouldgowrong )
What happened? And can I get those back somehow?
Hey! This was an unintended side-effect of an optimization I applied on lemm.ee yesterday. The change is now reverted and the missing posts are back. Sorry about that!
Thank you!
For some reason sorting by Hot doesn’t show most of the posts
Update: when you sort by new all posts are visible
Only when sorting by hot or active posts are missing
My lemm.ee account doesn’t want to post my comment:
I have no clue what is going on, but I see the same thing happening with /c/citiesskylines@lemmy.ml
- https://lemm.ee/c/citiesskylines@lemmy.ml shows only 2 posts, (UI: 0.18.1-rc.11, BE: 0.18.1-rc.10)
- https://lemmy.ml/c/citiesskylines also shows only 2 posts, (UI: 0.18.1-rc.11, BE: 0.18.1-rc.10)
- but https://lemmy.ca/c/citiesskylines@lemmy.ml shows “all” posts, (UI: ?, BE: 0.18.0)
- and https://lemmy.world/c/citiesskylines@lemmy.ml too. (UI: 0.18.1-rc.10, BE: 0.18.1-rc.9-14-ge71951309)
Am I going mad or do all of those links just show 2 posts? Idk how many there are supposed to be.
If you open the communities on one of the affected instances (probably has to do with the BE version) they will, but if you go to the other instances it shouldn’t. Lemmy UI also opens the link in your current instance when you press the “c/community” part of the url.
I filed a bug report on Github
