ADHD podcasts
The Complex https://www.jamesochoa.com/the-complex-podcast
Serial storyline format in brief episodes that shares knowledge about ADHD in a unique and engaging way
Ologies with Alie Ward - episodes on ADHD https://www.alieward.com/ologies/adhd
Fantastic podcast that did a two-part series on ADHD with guests Dr. Russel Barkley, René Brooks of Black Girl Lost Keys, Jessica McCabe of How to ADHD, and Jahla Osborne
Neurodivergence podcasts/ podcasts about both ADHD & ASD
Hey, not sure which category to post this under, but ABC Australia’s radio show “All in the Mind” covers general mental health topics, including ASD, ADHD, but also things like shame, thrill seeking, depression, etc. each episode is 30 minutes, so they don’t do deep dives into complex topics, but it’s good coverage for someone looking to learn more on various topics and broaden their horizons.
ASD podcasts
ASPD Podcasts
I was thinking about putting this under “other neat podcasts” but I think it really deserves more attention in the “neurodivergent community” along with some others.
My reluctance to call it neurodivergence is probably a bit of residual shame but whatevs.
They have some interesting podcasts regarding mental disorders such as narsacissm and ASPD.
I hope we will eventually see more people talking openly about their ASPD experience. Even now, my brain doesn’t want me to post this for a multitude of reasons lol but if I don’t do it, who will?
Other neat topics (unrelated to neurodivergence)
Ologies with Alie Ward https://www.alieward.com/ologies
Alie Ward (an absolute gem) interviews a different expert every week, ie asks “smart ologists not-smart questions about their professional obsessions.” Highly engaging and entertaining.
Second this one! So good!
I wish I could listen to more podcasts. When I do, I always enjoy it, but I haven’t been able to establish this as a habit… yeah, because of the ADHD ;)
Same, my brain has its own podcast that I can’t turn off hahaha
