It takes a lot to get me interested in a big 2 event these days, but Hickman playing with huge cosmic concepts definitely does the job. Just hope he doesn’t step on Ewing’s toes with all the cosmology he’s set up since Secret Wars.

    Hickman managed to respect and incorporate Unworthy Thor, Superior Iron Man and Old Man Rogers in his Avengers/New Avengers Time Runs Out arc before Secrer Wars when none of Remender, Aaron and Taylor could do so with each other. He’s the best there is at respecting continuity and other writers’ playgrounds. I also enjoyed his Unworthy Thor’s resolution more than Aaron’s.

      Yeah, he has an eye for detail that very few other writers manage.
