This is the most unfiltered article I’ve read from The Atlantic… by the time I finished the second paragraph I had to re-read the title to understand how I got here.
Edit: To be clear, this has been revealed as satire, its just so close to reality one could be forgiven for confusing the two.
It’s a satire piece meant to highlight the absurdity of conservative positions despite how they are presented matter-of-fact in the mainstream. Would love a non paywalled linked to read it all.

Also I’m not sure how but the Nextcloud News app bypasses The Atlantics paywall via the RSS feed… so i constantly forget its paywalled. ☠️
