The galaxy is enormous and barely explored but it feels so dead lately. Especially after the Legacy/Odyssey split. I keep checking my ‘recently met’ tab and barely anyone ever pops even if I’m running through major systems. Then most of the ones I do see don’t respond to messages or are going about it solo.
I’m just lookin for some friends so I don’t feel so damn alone
You’re probably going to have more luck on that “other site that shall not be named”. /r/ElitePS is the place, and last I checked weeks ago it’s still more or less active.
I stopped playing on PS awhile ago since Odyssey happened. Played for awhile on PC since then but didn’t really put too much time into it, in part because Frontier wrecked the performance for lower spec’d PCs, but also because I just can’t bring myself up to play this kind of game only by myself anymore (specially after having a taste of playing in a group in the past), so I kind of feel your pain. PS cmdr here! Though I admit I’m one of those “off exploring the galaxy alone” cmdrs since I’m pretty shy online.
I have been trying to push myself to change that since none of my IRL friends are in to ED, but it’s a steep hill for me to climb.
