        If it is your first linux experience, I would rather suggest linummint. Very user friendly, rock solid. Can;t go wrong with mint.

          Is there a lot of support for Mint? I picked Ubuntu because it looked like there is more people who can help with it if I had to post a question.

            Mint is Ubuntu. It’s just modified to get rid of the crap they put in there that sucks, and has a more familiar interface for windows users, as well as being easier to customize.

            Most solutions from ubuntu forums worked on my mint machine because mint is based on ubuntu.
