Whoa so many great changes! Sadly we’ll have to wait for 0.18.1 for captcha support. I’m surprised they chose to rely on websocket in the first place though, because the standard is always using http requests. There are certain stuff that would need a websocket, but that doesn’t mean the whole system should rely on it. Using websocket creates a lot load
lemmy 0.18.0 was released 2 days ago, but without captcha support.

Too bad. They get rid of websocket which is pretty much a troublemaker for the ui, and also custom emoji!? 😮
