what’s actually being discussed in the meetings in Riyadh aren’t permanent or interim borders for Ukraine or repatriation of citizens or anything that might be the actual makings even of a one sided “deal”. The main topic of conversation appears to be new concessions for American companies in the Russian oil industry, which remains heavily reliant on western technology to remain productive.
Munich Agreement vibes. History really does repeat itself, huh
Regale us with the tale of how Iraq and other countries were formed by British Petroleum…
So how do they expect to enforce their grand ideas if Ukraine doesn’t play ball? Russia’s sending donkeys to the front and Musk is busy dismantling the state.
Basically:
- The US stops supplying Ukraine with weapons.
- The ability to sell more oil enables Russia to acquire more weapons
This results in zerg rushes being able to eventually take Ukrainian positions because there just aren’t the dones, artillery shells, and ammunition to repel them.
The US already stopped supplying weapons to Ukraine and I would be disappointed if Ukraine took any future Trump pledges of support seriously considering he’s breaking pretty much every other support agreement.
Same way as always: military. The only difference this time it will be a joint effort between Russia and the US.
