Hello im a teen i guess and ive never had a friend before and im not sure how to make any, but that another story. i know there is ironsworn, but i would most likely get yelled at for printing something the size of a book from my family printer. i would probably see something large and get daunted, im kinda a noob because the only game ive played is dnd and i cant stand online games. So i guess im up for suggestions also i dont have money to spend, and i feel like my family woundent want to buy something for me unless it was a boardgame… also ive heard of the site itch but it seems most of their games require a group or a team.
feel free to add on to this but please be kind or suggest something if you wish too.
Hi there, teen. Making friends is complicated, but you’re going to get there. As for the RPGs:
Oliver Darkshire frequently makes low stakes one-page RPGs. They’re hosted at a Patreon, but they’re all free, solo and very light. They’re often based on current events, but sometimes are just plain silly. The type of simply sitting down with a dice and rolling to pass the time.
Gwen Katz has also made a similarly goofy adventure, based on a (at the time) current event. Since I’m unsure how well Twitter linking works nowadays, I’ve also downloaded it and hosted elsewhere for you to browse
On a less silly side, Ronin is a solo-RPG about a wandering warrior. Although there is a suggested price, the pdf is Pay What You Want. Like the others before, it only requires d6 to play (and your imagination)
I hope you can have fun with these, don’t be shy about asking questions or wondering about other games just because you are a “noob”. Everyone starts somewhere.
