Our cast iron pan we got from amazon for £30 it’s actually non stick, it cooks better, they work with an induction hob and if you season them (honestly not hard) you have it for life. Could. Not recommend enough.

    I use my cast iron pans far more than anything else I own in the kitchen. Maintenance is easy, they are naturally nonstick (better when smooth imo), and hold heat far more consistently.

      Same! I bought one for Christmas and it’s now our most used pan in the kitchen. They do cook things better, onions and spices cook really nicely.

      Also no where near as hard to maintain and season as I thought. Literally baked in the oven to dry, use oil to coat and then baked again, then it’s basically good to go. What most people don’t say is that just through use the oil you cook with also seasons.
