So obviously a lot of us are partial to kbin/Lemmy but have any of you explored the other alternatives like Raddle, Squabbles.io, and Tildes?

I made an account on Raddle because r/egg_irl and r/ennnnbyyy moved there and I also made one on Squabbles.io because some of the subreddits I joined had an analogous one on Squabbles.io. I haven’t use either enough to form a good opinion on them. Raddle seems to be predominantly political, and I’m trying to limit my exposure to politics and prevent doomscrolling.

What are your thoughts on these alternatives?

I’m on Raddle because I’m an anarchist and I honestly like it more than kbin/Lemmy. I like the discussion that goes on there that doesn’t happen here so much. I worry this is becoming more and more like Reddit after seeing some toxic posts, too. I don’t care that Raddle isn’t federated, I like that it’s unashamedly an anarchist and queer space which wouldn’t happen if it was federated - there’s a whole terf magazine on kbin, though it is very small right now.

Edit: I deleted my original post thinking I had accidently responded to another post but now I think I’m just getting confused by the green bar on the left side of my post on kbin, I guess to indicate its my post. Never noticed that before.
