It is typically the innate, subconscious biases that catch us off-guard by exposing themselves. It can boil down to something as simple as never thinking to have the conversation about how to handle minority tones and/or structures in the training/labeling.
Yeah you’re right! Programmers should train their models for all skin types . That’s also something that should be added in many many working environments tbh.
