Specifically looking for early dynastic China but all periods are welcome.

From Yao to Mao by Dr. Hammond is a very good simple course of overall Chinese history.

Arthur Wright’s works are fantastic if you are looking for an introduction to the Sui and T’ang as well as Chinese religious history.

You probably don’t speak Polish but in case someone who do would need similar recommendation i will drop this here:

Witold Rodziński, “Historia Chin”, wyd. Ossolineum 1974 is easily the best book in Polish about this topic, it covers period from Shang kingdom to 1919. Unfortunately, since it’s a book from 70’s it does not include all the Chinese archeological boom from last few decades. It’s also use the awkward Wade-Giles transcription. But all other publications about Chinese history in Polish i seen only briefly skim the antiquity and medieval times to quickly arrive and bash the PRC in unending litanies of manufactured atrocities (well almost all, books by Maciej Kuczyński about ancient history of China are surprisingly good, especially despite the author is rightwinger).
