@sag Note the identity of Eunice is left unclear. This is intentional to keep it more open to interpretation. Eunice just represents a minority also seeking liberation but is being punished for for selfish reasons.
Also, you could replace “gay” with any other identity and it still works. I’m NOT saying it’s only gay people guilty of this. But you know, only 3 panels … 😉
My point is, we must be wary of bigotry among our own, and be ready to call it out, or else it will destroy us from within.
