You have to congratulate the republicans really, time and time again they attack minorities and at the same time, they are growing by converting the very people they attack in to Republicans. Truly, the propaganda machine they’re unleashing is very effective. These immigrants are escaping their own fascist governments to elect another fascist government where they now live.
And the Democratic party in their wisdom, looks over and says “well if people like old fascists let’s put up another old person for a Republican Lite campaign. Someone too liberal for the Republicans and not enough liberal for people on the left.”
White men have always been high republican voters, sure. The GOP doesn’t need to convert more white men, they’re converting everybody else. They’re converting latinos, blacks, muslims, LGBTQ, women, younger people. They’re doing an amazing job at it too.
