    In Germany, the sign is actually more commonly used as the Schweigefuchs (“silence fox”) which is used to make people shut up. However, people have picked up on the fact that this usage is a little problematic at times, e.g. in some classrooms Kurdish children were confronted with teachers making the sign.

      I’m super mad the fascists took the silence fox away from us. That was a really nice one.
