Students in Massachusetts will get free lunch and breakfast at school thanks to a new 4% tax put on people who earn more than $1 million.

    Yeah but they are specifically not letting you get away with that tactic. You can’t just pick and choose the parts of the argument that are best suited to your own opinions. What kind of change would ever be enacted if we go around saying we shouldn’t do anything for people because a certain percentage might be benefiting when they don’t need it?

    If I decide to give away the rest of my cake and the fattest man in the room eats it…well I’m just happy someone got cake who wanted it!

      The person I replied to said that this benefits all of society and I agreed and gave an example of how it even benefits people who don’t need it, and all anyone is replying about is how um akshually it’s good for everyone. Like no fucking shit, that’s what I’m agreeing to. I honestly don’t understand why this is such a hard concept to understand.
