The original Transformers comics from the 80s/90s finally got reprinted recently in a big softcover phonebook and it uses the old school type of paper too so big nostalgia trip since that’s one of 2 titles I actually read in the mid 90s (the other being amazing spider-man). The comic books were way more gritty and pessimistic than the animated series, every character got put through a hard time.
