    I’m surprised his body was intact as much as it was. Too many cartoons/TV for me, apparently.

    I rewinded a few times because I wasn’t totally sure what I saw. Everybody’s body language says it all.

      Yeah that’s because the engine is idling so it’s not pulling in at 100% thrust.

      Feel free to watch some of the bird strike testing they do at GE or Rolls-Royce where they drop a chicken (dead already) and it gets sucked into the turbine running at full pelt.

      They probably had the engines shutting down at the time. Last time, I saw a story of a guy getting sucked in. Was a loading worker. The engines were full idle and only a trickle of blood was the only remains recovered.
