Jokes aside, they probably reason in the same way liberals rationalize the system: «It is not capitalism! It’s…uh… corporationism!». Instead of blaming capitalism they blame the studious for being greedy, ignoring that under capitalism companies can only ever be greedy.
If they blame wokeness on the other hand, it seems to me they just hate to see any black, woman or LGBT character having any relevance whatsoever. Makes sense, since “woke” is a buzzword used by reactionaries.
Honestly, paid skins are stupid and I hate the fact that Roblox always goes all in on making stuff shitty but always half-asses actual good things, like public UGC
