Have we all collectively forgotten that the whole world kinda fought a war about this a while back? Giving fascists any opportunity to espouse their views is giving them a platform. The only “debate” a fascist deserves is a bullet.

Yeah, and one could even argue that WWII wasn’t really about fascism, but expansionism, as Franco was allowed to continue to exist. Hence, the kinda in my original comment.

And Thought Slime really nailed it. If they are “debating” they win. They should be made fun of without their participation, and that’s basically it. Other than that, they should eat bullets and participate in the Spanish space program.

As soon as he admits he’s a fascist, he’s removed from the debate. The other contestants “on his side” vote him out as well (with the red flags in this Jubilee format.)

Debates are not the same as talk shows, long form podcast interviews, news appearances, etc.

Here is a short, nuanced discussion on it from left-leaning podcast, Conspirituality.

I guess, disclaimer if it’s not clear, I’m anti fascist.

He was able to continue his tirade after declaring himself a fascist for quite a while, ultimately until the debate fizzled out and they became silent, and only after the others clapped for the fascist did they finally vote him out.
