For me, once the interruption happens then it switches to “you stupid removed, you did it, you did it, you stupid removed, don’t do it again, don’t do it again, this is why you have no friends you stupid removed…”
Then you realize that you’ve been only paying attention to yourself repeating this in your head and have been mindlessly nodding and saying “yeah” for the last 3 minutes to the other person and have no idea what they are talking about now.
