Okay jokes aside what is the context behind this photo?

The context is that Andres Pastrana (former president of Colombia, right-wing, who has ties with the USA and is a POS) went on a trip with Epstein from the USA to the Bahamas. In the Bahamas, Fidel invited both to Cuba (this was in 2003, some days before this Cuba had arrested some spies as reported by Gusano media outlets, and Latin America had changed their views on Cuba, so it was common for right-wing politicians to visit there, specially with USian business people or actors, mostly to show opposition to Bush or because they liked Cuba). They arrived there, Epstein stayed for a day or two and left without Pastrana (as reported by Pastrana himself). Pastrana stayed in Cuba and talked with Fidel, and then left some days after this. Theres no proof that Fidel even talked with Epstein, he probably just wanted to talk with Pastrana and thought Epstein was just some random USian businessman.
I think Epstein was accompanying a latam reactionary head of state on a separate trip (I think it was the then president of Colombia I could be wrong) and they decided to go to Cuba, he was just tagging along and happened to end up in this photo. Just rich guy shit basically.

People think a photo tells everything. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t. William Randolph Hearst, yellow journalist: You furnish the pictures, I’ll furnish the war!
People have a weird internal brain mechanism that “fills in the blanks,” usually according to the environment and rhetoric they were socialized (psychological sense) in, and while this is a useful trait in dangerous situations, can undermine us when we can afford the time to pause and think situations through rationally.
Each of us come into contact regularly with unsavory characters without ever having known it. Maybe the Mossad financed two sides of a conflict, maybe Epstein just wanted to say he’d met Castro, maybe he was trying to gather Intel. We can’t know, unless Epstein files are released and that information is there and unredacted. I doubt that’s going to happen in this century.
