Speaking of shitty takes, that @iii@mander.xyz person below that seemed to agree with them also got banned from hexbear for transphobia. Called HRT “self destructive”.

I don’t have the time or moderation capacity to make a community as cool or comrade filled as HB, but if you see any really shitty takes, report them. We’re a really small instance though
Sorry didn’t mean it as a dig personally at you. I do know it’s rough being a solo admin. We’ve had 5 years dealing with this shit so I appreciate the follow up and sorry for the friendly fire. I’ll be sure to let you know if anyone else from your instance represents yall in an ill light. Usually I just mock people and move on, ban them from whatever communities I mod and inform our admins but this guy was literally just posting Nazi shit.
Not sure what your registration process is but it may be a good idea to set up a simple questionnaire to filter out the obvious ones like that. I know that is more workload for you in the short term but may pay off in the long term though.
