Angel hair, squish, peas, red pepper flakes, parm, and, wait for it, generic over the counter zesty Italian bottled dressing. Served hot. This was not my idea. I didn’t want to do it. But she came up with it and I couldn’t say no.

Did it work? Yes, barely. I was going to make Italian dressing but she said no. This bottled stuff is way too sweet even in the small amount I used. Italian dressing shouldn’t have sugar in it. In this case 1.5 grams per tablespoon. If I do it again I’d make the dressing.

Cost per person $1.25.

    No leftovers. I might change the pasta to fusilli which would also make it more like a traditional pasta salad if served cold.
