I’m sure I’m not the only one to have enjoyed the recent boom on YouTube of urban planning and transport content from the likes of NJB, citynerd and citybeautiful. Not to mention the one of videos from others like Adam something etc.
However they all either have an NA focus or a worldwide focus and I’ve not been able to find something similar regarding the UK of any quality. There’s Gareth Dennis’ podcast but it’s a bit too difficult to engage with for non pros. Any thoughts or should I start my own channel?!
One of the ones I remember watching was Geoff Marshall - he’s got a very heavy UK focus if not exclusively.
I, personally, think we can never have too much train/public transit content and would love to see more of it. I’ve been moaning quite a lot about how shite YouTube is of late. Content creation isn’t exactly easy but I’d welcome seeing more people in the space.
Geoff also does some international content like for France or the USA. But mainly UK stuff. I would love to see more stuff about Urban planning/good Public transport.
He definitely strikes me as more of a train guy than a transit guy. The difference is subtle between the two, but there.
