Marami pa talaga ako gusto iunpack tungkol sa movie kahapon. Nakakainis kasi na di napanood nung isang kasama ko dapat. Dinidebrief namin yung isa’t isa after watching something like that.
Kahapon may isang comment about a superhero movie having a nostalgic 2000 vibe. I’m not really sure if it was an insult for the superhero movie, kasi for me, kapag sinabi na parang mga naunang Marvel movies, medyo sablay na sa akin for this era.
Problematic na kasi these days yung nareresolve yung problem sa kwento na inaasa lang sa isa o ilang taong may power, lalo na kung yung problem affected yung maraming tao. Ang pangit kasi nung idea na ung mga affected maghihintay na lang ng tutulong sa kanila at walang participation.
Although may mga problems sa Third World Romance na deus ex machina ang resolution (escapist nga e), may isang major problem na naresolve nung nagparticipate yung mga taong affected sa paglutas. It’s not a new idea naman pero parang di ko alam kung bakit hindi maipasok ng mga writers sa mga kwento nila.
