To start off, thank you for this community to give me some comradeship through my toughest of time and I feel like that is also good enough sometimes. I know a lot of people might not know me. Maybe some do. I know a lot of people might not like me for not being political anymore or share the same ideas. But I really just want to live and stop worrying about politics too much. I have sometimes good take and sometime dogshit horrible takes. I understand we are all just trying to fight for a peaceful world and a beautiful world. I need to say goodbye because I feel like I no longer going to be active on lemmygrad entirely anymore and it been a blip on and off randomly for months on end here me checking on update and sometimes giving horrible takes. I will have to admit that sometimes I do lack knowledge and need to read more books lol. Because I originally not from the West, this community have given me an opportunities to not feel alienated and I can relate to a lot of things this community said. Anyways, I don’t know what else or what more to say… I know a lot of people might hate me for this because it might seen that I have given up on the cause, but I really need to focus on my life.

P.S. Also thanks @Eat_Yo_Vegetables69 for the sick ass pfp, it been nice knowing you comrade!

I don’t know u, but i wish nothing but the best to you! It’s totally cool to not be political or to try to structure your life around something not political, totally ur choice. Who am I to judge that? I don’t think personally anyone has the right to do so. I found for instance that, committing to communism at heart and starting to organize, really gave me some porpuse as I suddenly started learning a lot and found some really cool and likeminded ppl. Well but that doesn’t rly solve a lot of the mental issues i’m facing, therefore I also need to go see a psychologist. But ultimately I can also understand why one would choose to limit the political aspect of ones life, especially since it does take a lot of ones time and energy. Still, hope to see u 'round.

Edit: Also, that is a pretty sick pfp o.O

Learning about communism has made me more aware of the ugliness of capitalist reality. But if anything, that awareness has brought more serious obstacles to improving my mental health. It’s just harder to enjoy things for what they are.

It’s totally a respectable choice to let politics take a backseat for periods. People can only do what’s in their mental and emotional capacity to do so. Human beings simply were never meant to be aware of so much information at once. Especially regarding oppression.

I struggle with this. Sometimes I think that I might be happier living in blissful ignorance, but then I remember that I was both unhappy and ignorant before 😢
