    That is excellent lighting. I wonder if they cleaned everything up also? I would suspect it gets rather dusty in there.

    If there’s one thing I truly miss about attending church, it’s getting too see and hear that pipe organ up close. The one my parents took me to had all the pipes up behind and above the stage, so they kind of loomed over everything. I would get entranced just staring at the pipes and not hear a word the pastor was saying.

    Been there, seen that. I even had the chance to hold one of the pipes in my hand. It was the smallest one in the organ. Helps if the music teacher is also the local organist.

    And recently my wife and I saw a register of pipes of the, I think, Salisbury cathedral. A sub-basso 32’, pipes of ten meters length that you feel more than you hear them.
