Charge nothing for any service you offer, but ensure that clients are locked into a contract for at least 5 years. Ensure that your clients cannot amend that contract or ever take you to court.
Once you have enough customers, start charging an absolutely ridiculous hourly rate and degrade any service you offered to the point where it is only possible for your customers to do the service themselves if they want it performed at the level stated in the original contract that you likely changed a dozen times prior to actually charging money.
At some point, offer a premium plan that charges double to maybe get 10% of the original service back. The contract length must be extended by 10 years to sign on.
Repeat.
Bam! 'murica!

You need Capital… and you need an ism.

The hot new vibe rizz capitalism (which isn’t really new, but feels new) is to outsource your overhead costs to your workers. Instead of spending money training them or buying equipment and tools, get them to pay for them. Don’t even buy or rent property. They can use their own money and their own homes and their own equipment. You get a cut, they do all the work, and you don’t even have to invest in the real estate or build a factory or have safety reviews or health insurance plans, just a website and some IT folks to handle the transactions and ad platforms.
This, btw, is Etsy’s business model. You work for them, but get no employee benefits and you front all the costs. The modern Avon or Tupperware scenario.
The first step is usually to have rich parents.
Easiest way to have a million bucks net worth… is to start with 10 million.
