I am a bit knackered right now
Got up at 6 and was at a mates place by 7 to install some good quality alloy ladder racks to my ute.
It wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done. We ended up cutting pieces out, doing some grinding and welding. I had to crawl under the ute too to hold some plates in place while my mate bolted things up. It took a few hours. But well they’re now installed, look great and make my ute able to carry some serious loads in the future.
Than I came home and have filled up the ute with a friend’s belongings that she left behind in a shipping container.
The ute is chocker block and I still have a clothes line thing ( think camping hills hoist ) a table, a kayak and paddle, two Gerry cans and a dog bed to cram in somewhere. It’s 12:40 pm and it’s hot and I’ve sat down in the shade to have my first beer.
I mean thank goodness for this wind I suppose but it doesn’t seem to be cooling things down much.

I didn’t have a nap but I certainly slept well last night.
