Still waiting for something as basic as group tabs.
The current implementation in Chromium-based browsers is miles ahead of what any add-on can do in Firefox.
They need to get their shit together.
KBin Enjoyer

/kbin form the Artemis app beta 🤩
Absolute W
The game totally needs anti cheat software, but it was a shame Linux players were gonna get culled by it.
Yeah, it’s so dumb.
They did the same in digital circuits (master-slave flip flops) and even in communication protocols.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is for you!
Larian did an incredible job with that game and it’s truly a masterpiece. If you have friends, you can play online co-op and have a blast.
And if you have a SO, make sure to try it out as well! The split screen implementation for this game is amazing, and the controller support is second to none.
In fact, I switched from M+K to the controller just because it was so much better.
By the time you’re done, Larian Studio’s Baldur’s Gate 3 will have been released (Aug 3rd), and it seems it’s going to 1-up every other RPG out there by a mile!
I hope they can implement the same controller scheme and split screen system with BG3 as well, since it’s so much better for couch co-op.
In spanish you are likely to default to k’bin (cabin).
Letter K pronunciation varies across the globe, so I think everyone will have variations of it.
Kbin is already 🔥🔥, and with the Artemis app being developed by @hariette, it’s even better!
Once it launches it’s gonna be a blast.
Love me some Second Offense

When you create a new thread (in Kbin), you can apply tags to it before posting.
Are these tags doing the same thing as hashtags, or are they more like the ones in Reddit?
That could be another perspective a person like this could have.
Either way, it’s clear they’re deranged and fucked up.
Yea, that would be great.
Though I’ve also heard they plan to keep it EU-only for compliance.
I hope it doesn’t go like that and the feature gets enabled globally.
I currently use Android and I’m happy with it.
I’m not a tinkerer by any means, but I do enjoy a fair bit of third-party apps.
The lack of side-loading in iOS is the deal breaker for me, but should this be added, I would 100% try it out.
It’s good he didn’t die.
Now he can continue to live imprisoned, fearing being assaulted (in many ways) at every corner.
Poetic justice, a predator is now the prey.
If it’s despair because of the state the society is in, I could see someone targeting children to ‘spare’ them from what awaits them.
It’s the same reason some parents kill themselves and their children when commiting suicide.
It’s fucked up.
Kbin is a different software than Lemmy, although similar.
It has only been around a few months (unlike lemmy that has years in development).
It offers what seems to me a more centralized view of the fediverse, with federation to lemmy servers and mastodon servers as well.
It has access to the microblogging feature, that is like sending a toot from mastodon.
I’ve found it to be a more familiar experience to Reddit, and honestly, I prefer it over lemmy.
Due to it being so new, it has many missing features lemmy might have, like mobile apps (the API is still not public, and it’s being worked on).
HOWEVER, Kbin has a great community backing it up.
I’m currently posting this from the amazing Artemis beta app for Kbin, the first of its kind.
This is due to the incredible job @Hariette has done!!
Could you please the discord server?
I haven’t been able to find it.
Valve really needs to push for Linux compatibility adoption for anti-cheat software.
Once Linux gets adopted by these companies, there’s really no other feature Linux gaming can’t one-up Windows gaming.
It has more to do with implemented compatibility I’d day.
It’s clear that once Kbin has a public API, many lemmy apps will probably offer compatibility, like Sync for example.
Artemis is the other way around, it’s being developed for kbin, and it will add Lemmy compatibility down the line.
I imagine eventually the kbin apps will flesh out the microblogging aspect of it as well and allow better interface with mastodon.
It’s a shame but an overall positive for the community I would say.
Sure, it’s a big issue that it breaks compatibility with Linux, but unfortunately it’s a quite small userbase that will be affected vs the userbase that will benefit from this.
The ideal world would see the anticheat software developers providing compatibility with Linux, but again, I doubt it’s high on the priority list with such a smaller userbase in comparison.
Can you make it look and work like both of these pictures?
If yes: How?
If no: That’s my point.
