I finished making the hummus, tabbouleh, and flatbread. It is very yummy, especially when combined. The hummus is nice and silky, and more on the watery side (I mostly use Aquaphaba for the liquid.) I got some mint this time for the tabbouleh and it makes a very pleasing addition. For the flatbread, I used roasted garlic.

I looked up hummus recipes and the one that I use was buried by a bunch of fucking awful ass recipes and propaganda. Also, for some reason all the recipes involve removing the shell from the chickpeas, which I will never do.

unprecedented levels of unbothered yet bothered behavior. I can only hope to aspire to such greatness.

I made eye contact with a woman holding a phone to her face for a split second. My standard greeting is a smile, and her look was that of extreme rage and disgust. I barely had any time to process this before she connected to whoever she was trying to call and begin yelling “aaahhh!!!” at the top of her lungs. Me and whoever was on the other side of that phone call experienced a jumpscare I imagine.

I have been recruited to make tabbouleh, hummus, and flatbreads. Of course I’m going to make extra so that I can have some too. I also got some tamarind soup mix so I can make sinigang, and I am so excited. I’ve been wanting to try it for so long.

watching Sailor Moon Crystal. Holy shit, I have such a strong emotional reaction to the show. They tried really hard to keep the original show from me, yet I would watch it in secret and feel the same surge of emotions every time the transformation sequences would start up. in a world where emotions are meant to be contained and diminished, I was carrying red clay with me and putting it on my fingers so that I could look like sailor Mars. It was like a secret code with my sister, we both used it to express feelings that were not allowed by christofascist society.

btw you can put lemon in your tea and it will have a chemical reaction with the tannins and make it so you can still absorb iron when drinking tea

crows are very distrustful. Keep trying, they might one day decide to take a peanut or two. Pigeons are more receptive, but then you’ll have to feed the whole colony hehe

I still really love the guitar, but I feel like bass is just easier to pick up and noodle around with in general. For that reason, I really love playing the bass
