I think the new beta features made it a lot better. Mainly Custom instructions and the code interpreter. Using them generates much better responses.

Iirc the iPhone app has a speech to text function. Other than that probably better performance.

If you are on windows you can open the image with the standard windows Photos app. Right click the image and there should be an option to resize the image.

Then select Percentage to resize while maintaining the aspect ratio. You can then drop this height or width value and/or change the image into jpg. It will show how much storage space the image will take at the bottom.

I agree that we should defederate from meta. We moved over here because of the shitty corporations so we shouldn’t let them in now that we are actually creating a community away from them
