Not quite sure what all I’ll be getting into here, but I’m excited to see where this all goes!
I’ll be jumping between this account and my kbin.run account (@BenjMathis1) until things settle down a bit.
You can also find me elsewhere on the internet @BenjMathis1.

Yeah, I personally use most of their in-box apps, but it’s great that they’re giving us the option to uninstall some of the ones we don’t want anymore.
@highhomes1994 I hadn’t noticed it before, but I just checked and yeah it shows the same thing for me. I wonder what’s going on with that. 🤔
Well welcome, @StrwbrryJen! 👋 I hope you enjoy the experiences and interactions you’ll have over here.
While I do enjoy reading a physical book with real pages I can turn. I do prefer the convenience eBooks provide. I use both Kindle and Google Play Books, and its great cause I can just read on my phone whenever I have some time to spare, instead of always having to plan ahead and bring a book with me. And it’s also had the added benefit of easier discovery of new reads and authors that I might not have come across otherwise. And I do have a Surface Duo, so I also enjoy how it does emulate that book-like feel when I open it up to read something.
There are a few different things I try to do each day to find little moments of happiness here and there. Anything, no matter how small, can have a bigger impact on our mental health than we may initially think. When I have the time, I like to sit down and do a little bit of coding, or do some design work for a new project I want to start (even though there’s a high chance I’ll move on from it soon 😅). Also getting into a good book is always nice, spending time hiking or just going to a park somewhere, or even a little DIY craft project can be a lot of fun. But when I’m a little busier even little things like music, or journaling, or even a drink I really enjoy can all go a long way in boosting my mood.
I agree 100%. It definitely isn’t a big problem yet (as far as I’m aware at least), but it’s only a matter of time until it becomes one.
Oh my gosh, those look amazing! 🤩 I love the idea of various magazines using something similar like this. Aside from them just being cool, I like how they bring some uniformity to the magazines on the platform while also visually expressing themselves in a unique and creative way. Unfortunately I can’t think of a way for the magazines I run to be adopted to this 3D format, but if I run into anyone looking for an icon for their magazines, I’ll definitely send them your way!
@Teon Yes! Having that would be really nice.
Same. I kind of have issues with my mind wondering when meditating (though also just in general lol). But I then tried guided meditation and it just clicked. Maybe it was having someone kind of guiding and reminding me to stay focused, but it’s been amazing. And I agree, I think everyone should at least give it a try at some point.
Haven’t had a ton of free time today to look over everything yet, but the Samsung display stuff I saw was pretty neat. Especially the transparent display. Lenovo also announced a neat 2-in-1 PC/tablet that runs both Windows and Android in their respective modes.
