Im trying to dispose of some unused, expired hydroponic nutrients but keep finding conflicting information on how to do it safely

On some hydroponic forums people are saying to flush them down the toilet, some are saying to throw them out with regular garbage, and my county’s website said I can bring them to a hazardous waste collection event but they only have 4 a year and haven’t announced them for next year

I’d prefer not to wait until next year but wouldnt want to fuck with the environment
