Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•France’s PM resigns after less than a month amid widespread criticism of new cabinetEnglish1·10 days agoIsn’t this making it worse really? How about France starts accepting democracy for better or worse, and let it’s People choose for once.
Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•Czech billionaire Andrej Babis vows a pro-western course after election winEnglish11·10 days agoThis was actually ment as a good thing, but everyone was all like: “Now italy will leave the EU.” When she actually showed to be one of the best assets EU could have, and most pro Ukraine as well. So I asked, if it was a meloni type of guy, or if he is going to be full Orban/Putins removed?
Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your favorite thing about society and your most disliked thing about it?5·10 days agoI love that we all have to be accountable to each other, give and take philosophy, which makes a society going. At the same time, I hate to be accountable to People who doesn’t give a shit about the rest of us.

Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•Migration is Britain’s superpower. Our future depends on embracing that truth, not denying itEnglish3·11 days agoIndeed, the best future ressource is being that continent, “People wanna move to”. USA pretty much killed this for themselves, time for Europe to take advantage of this. Immigration is not only asylum seekers btw. It’s every foreigner who wanna come and live/work in your country.
Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are people in your state or country getting tired of the government finally?4·11 days agoI’m pretty tired of the way EU works today, and needs a reformation to be taken seriously. The voting process of a union is just killing it, and there is no progress, when 1 or 2 nations can just veto against, and then nothing happens. This is apparently an “unforseen” - bug in the system. Which automatically should lead us towards federalising, and Saying: “Everyone who wants EU can join, everyone who doesn’t, we’ll still be friends and making trade deals, but you are no longer getting any of the sweet benefits from EU.”

Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•Populist billionaire Babis's party on track to win Czech electionEnglish4·12 days agoBut my point is, how is the citizens not asking themselves: “What does this billionaire have as personal gain, from his populist agenda?”

Here's What That Looks LikeEnglish152·12 days agoIsn’t it because most of their renewable energy sources are produced by themselves, and is cheap as fuck compared to build a new coal plant. Easier to quickly scale solar and wind, rather than building burning plants? = no need of any labelled and beaurocratic “green budgets” Anymore. Because renewables already IS the prefered energy source. (because of price per MwH)

Bullerfar@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•Populist billionaire Babis's party on track to win Czech electionEnglish16·12 days agoI find it hillarious People has turned to a populist billionaire to “save their country” all around the world. Wasn’t the point of a democratic process not, to reduce the power of the elite to benefit the People? (reduce power to the rich/government) what do you find so attractive in billionaires Saying what you wanna hear, just to, in the end, reduce taxes of the 1% (their friends and doners)?
It’s just very destructive for a democracy, not accepting there is 30% of your People with another vision than your own.
It’s like in germany. The parties keep trying to silence AFD but what they actually are doing is just making them more popular, because AfD can then say: “Look, where is the democracy and voices of the People, the government doesn’t care about your voices.”
