Bourdain’s life was incredibly complex.

From being a rebel bad boy who is also to a incredibly loving person, to a father who wanted to do everything for his kids while also leaving half the year to work.

He helped shine a light to the beauty of the world cultures while banging hookers. He was the guy who would give you the shirt off his back and then rip into you on a bad day.

He’s a complex dude. Someone who I admire from the distance and would absolutely hate to be in the same room as him.

I drunkenly stumbled to a Furry outing a few years ago. It was really cute watching human-sized furry people hugging each other.

I work for a church. We do a LOT for the community. Free lunches under the bridge. Park clean ups every season. After school programs for kids.

But in no way are we even close to doing as much good as actual organized programs that have real leadership and get funding.

I was also watching a lot of cooking shows while playing Elden Ring. So maybe it was right fit right time.

Highly recommend Dr. Stone. It gets too anime sometimes if you’re not into that. But the talk and approach of science is really good. My non-anime watching wife enjoyed parts of it. But then left the room during the anime trope-y parts.

That show had absolutely no reason to be so good for such a really toxic game.

I struggled to watch season 2 & 3. Fortunately, I had a buddy who watched with me because some scenes, you really question the choices.

As a whole ride on Mr Lynch’s crazy train, I enjoyed it.
