Akitas were companions for Japanese nobility so they hunted, guarded, and loved on their masters very devoted, and I specifically had an American Akita, who are cross-bred with German Shepards. They’re extremely intelligent, and will chase anything they see, not so much smell, but oftentimes absolutely.

Caesar_Wolfman@ttrpg.networkOPto RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•How I Feel in a Lot of GroupsEnglish1·2 years agoThis is also important; sometimes not everyone wants to be a face.
Everything is a Jojo reference.
Just like everything is secretly a 40k reference.
Zealot Barbarians are objectively one of the most fun to play.
One of my favorite characters, of all time, was an Aasimar Path of the Zealot Barbarian.
The twist being she wasn’t half-celestial half-human or anything, but half-Orc, and her father was Tempus. One of her character goals was to get the Orcish people to reject Gruumsh and follow a real war god.

Mayhaps I shall!

Caesar_Wolfman@ttrpg.networkOPto RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•How I Feel in a Lot of GroupsEnglish31·2 years agoI will literally let my table sit in silence before butting in.
Like, I’ve trained myself to hold back so much I struggle to get a word in edgewise in more proactive groups.
The problem is definitely they’re introverts, but I can’t force them to talk.

Sounds like my Akita
Caesar_Wolfman@ttrpg.networkOPto RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•How I Feel in a Lot of GroupsEnglish7·2 years agoOf course there’s ways to be better, but getting mad at the active player kinda justifies them calling them out.
Caesar_Wolfman@ttrpg.networkOPto RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•How I Feel in a Lot of GroupsEnglish3·2 years agoI’m a very social player and even I can feel like I’m talked over sometimes in a very engage RP-heavy group, just because I’ve trained myself not to interrupt people.
I like a bit of 50/50 as a DM, and my players adore what I do sometimes.
Legit great ideas and easily implemented.
Caesar_Wolfman@ttrpg.networkOPto RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•How I Feel in a Lot of GroupsEnglish61·2 years agoI’ve seen this too; the problem is people who use this legitimate problems to shame someone who’s doing nothing wrong.
Caesar_Wolfman@ttrpg.networkOPto RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•"My Warlock Patron is my Mom"English11·2 years agoI think they’re all pretty solid, but my favorite is and will always be “My Warlock Patron is my overbearing mom who rediscovered me and is desperately trying to embody what a mom is, with no context for what any of it means, or what “age appropriate” means”.
Alright you need a Wooden Greathammer, dump your charisma, and play it up as Lawful Evil.
