I’ve mentioned this before but I worked at a zoo and we provided all kinds of plants to primates that were medicinal for just this reason, they’re very clever and often treat their illnesses before the keepers even know they’re sick. Not just great apes either, capuchins and lemurs that aren’t nearly as bright do it too.
They were certainly feared but aren’t as dangerous as say, a tiger, which we keep regularly. Their poo suggests a herbivorous diet so unlikely to be hunting anything regularly, probably more like a cassowary that attack for defence.

Fun fact I learned this week, humans have no sense for water, we work out something is wet by combining things, like if it’s cold, if the pressure is different, if it’s moving past us, but can’t actually tell wetness.
I think Moa are a cool candidate for de-extinction, cause we have close relatives, they wouldn’t be too dangerous, and we could house them well in zoos. Plus I’d super like to see one.

I’m always surprised by governments who keep the same leader for a long time. In the UK we got 3 in a year once, none of them do a full term, or not for a long while.
Zoos have known this for a long while, this study from London zoo went into it in 2006, and look at the sources going back into the 90’s.
It’s cool that this new study has come out, but this isn’t news really.
I’m getting paywalled and can’t be bothered getting around it but I’ve read a lot about this from the researchers who study it, it’s quite interesting. Is it possible that cells can have memory? Of course. Could energy persist beyond the physical? Sure.
I wouldn’t call myself a believer but I’m definitely a curious observer.
She tried calling the dog, then used an electric collar, and NOTHING worked?? Those are two things that are known not to work, she hasnt even made a tiny attempt to train the dog, then got annoyed when a hunting dog, specifically a bird dog, wasn’t safe around birds.

I got into pizza dough over covid. I currently have three different 00 flours. It’s really fun to try different things though, how long you do each thing, how much of what goes in, pizza stones, baking trays, etc. I’m not at my perfect pizza yet but definitely like what I’m making.
I’m concerned how much the focus is on being a burden to others. If someone wants to die then fair enough, but if they die for the benefit of others that isn’t a free choice.
My house only has a bath, no shower, not had one for 15 years outside of hotels (and even then I request a bath if possible).
Cost of living varies too though, in many countries that amount would let you live well.
To clarify, yet again, the girls who would pull this trick would act as if they were interested in the guy that they chose, and were interested in sleeping with them. They were not interested in sleeping with them, they just wanted free drinks. The guys would find out at the end of the night that these girls were pretending to be interested just to get drinks, and would be annoyed that they had been tricked. At no point did anyone owe anything to anyone else.
A guy who had been tricked like this in the past might avoid anyone that he thinks might be trying it in the future.
Read this through again. Think about what you’re saying. To suggest it’s a ‘trick’ to accept a gift that’s offered without offering your own self as a reward. If you truly believe that women don’t owe men sex if they buy them a drink then why are you talking about it as if they’re not holding up their end of the bargain?
They didn’t ask that at all, they asked if they were in the wrong.
Your opinion that it may have suggested a lady might be willing to be bought a drink but shockingly would not sleep with the man indeed suggests an obligation that doesn’t exist.

I think that’s probably it. I know it’s always a game when you get the clothes out the dryer after a while to work out if it’s still damp or if it’s just cold.
