I do hope that Superman movie is good
I actually really like Superman
Still love how he made the Irish mob have guns that shot potatoes
Hell yeah
Also, there have been Dogwelders since the Great Egyptian Empire and the title and powers are passed down with the welding mask and torch
I am not making this up
Ah yes, the Sov-City arc
It’s kind of hard to describe Hitman because it hits a lot of different notes, but yeah it’s got a lot of satire. Any time a DC character shows up, something funny is about to happen.
But it’s also got some of the best drama to happen in a comic book about professional killers.
To this day, I still get a little teary thinking about the ending, because it’s just that good.
I can’t really define it, but I know it when I see it
Especially since superhero stuff isn’t so much a genre as it is a convention of the storytelling they’re doing
For example, Swamp Thing has superheroes in it, but Swamp Thing itself is not a superhero comic because they’re rarely the focus
One of my favorite comics, Hitman, has superheroes in it. In fact, the main character has paranatural abilities that would in fact make him a superhero if it weren’t for the fact that he hates using them and is a hitman. He still goes up against paranatural and metahuman threats, but its not a superhero comic if that makes sense
Also famous for touching women without consent

Picture if all the Silicon Valley techbros were willing to kill to make slightly faster computers
I always liked those old Punisher comics because they follow one of three plot lines
