I think you need to be more familiar with libraries and library systems and how they work.
The funny thing is that I know for a fact that there are Trump supporters who work in the library where my wife works (one is a cis woman with a mustache who must be mistaken for trans regularly, which surprised me), and they also don’t approve of this shit. I mean yeah, they’re total hypocrites, but they still don’t support these book bans.
I’m seeing people who are very likely homeless walking down busy highways and even the interstate to get to the town where I live, presumably to go to the jobs they still have despite being “lazy homeless people.” Walking down them miles out of town. They must have to walk for 2 or 3 hours minimum just to get to work. It would take them 2 hours to get to the nearest bus stop from where I often see them walking (near a woods where they must be camping).
A significant number of them are Latino, and this town does not have a large native Latino population, making me think they are migrants who ended up homeless after hoping to come to America for a better life.
I assume Republicans think all of that is just fine.

That’s the worst part. They just gave themselves a huge amount of extra power and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
If you want any proof that the court is corrupt, there it is. They are a court that can give themselves new powers.
Honestly, it seems like people my age (late 40s) and older are the ones who have trouble understanding that since we weren’t taught that in school. So maybe we are the ones who need to see these warnings.
That sort of happened on the other side of the world in the town I live in! Because of a huge storm here that knocked down tons of trees, a garage collapsed the day after the tree fell on it. I guess it just took a while to lose structural integrity.
Weird to read about huge storms collapsing roofs on opposite sides of the planet, but I guess this is the new normal.
