Any help is better than struggling alone which is what these people are doing. As someone who actually uses the platform I’ve not had a bad experience and have had the same therapist.

Depends on the type of therapist approach. If it’s the type that is about CBT and thinking you need to change it won’t work just like it doesn’t work on neurodivergents. If it’s internal family systems or ACT it can absolutely help because it acknowledges those issues and validates what’s happening without trying to change you. You learn skills to accept it and ride it out vs suppressing and forcing change.

Gongin@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do Americans not understand what has happened?3·4 months agoWhere does your 10% come from? Of those that voted, he got 49%ish of the vote. Those that didn’t vote effectively made the statement they didn’t care one way or another.
Looking at it another way, the GOP controls both sides of Congress. One of those sides is the House of Representatives because they represent you. In all this nonsense, in whatever that “state of the union/campaign” was, those “representatives” cheered and voted with him. By extension, the people they represent.
Whether we want to admit it or not, it is far closer to half the country then 10%. If nothing else, it’s half the country that felt like having a say.
Stomp the poo through the shower grates, unless this was rhetorical.

For someone correcting everyone you sure are misinterpreting a lot.
Also we are not close to 0%. I’d say at least >30% by made up metrics. Congress will not act, too many maga. Scotus just proved with their stay of USAID that they will back Trump. Vance openly said no one can enforce the Judicial as the US Marshals are under the executive. It’s bleak.

Gongin@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you think millennials who grew up with the early Internet and home computers will be as bad with future technology as boomers are with current technology?50·2 years agoIt’s because everything is now UI driven and done for them. They didn’t have to debug or solve computer issues. It’s a sad state of affairs that the better technology gets the less the population understands it. I’d say, with respect to this post, millennials may be the only generation that can truly problem solve tech, both past and future.
Everything and all appear to be synonymous when compared to the default web browser.

I’d say that is my criteria and not really how old the post is. The content.
I believe most will be explained if you watch the movie Idiocracy. When Trump got elected the first time the director of the movie said he never intended for it to be a documentary.
